“Mark Klein Junior Triathlon Coaching has given Christ’s School students an exceptional opportunity to participate in a growing, popular and physically demanding Olympic sport. Not only do Students get to develop their overall Cardiovascular fitness but the students learn skills such as transitioning and race tactics during these well structured and engaging sessions. We are very proud to be one of only a select few state schools in the South of England offering such a club.” Head of PE, Christ’s School, Richmond
“Mark’s dynamic, fun and creative approach to coaching athletics was perfect for our children and really helped to develop their skills and attitudes towards athletics. He tailored his approach to suit the needs of the children and was extremely flexible, with the result that all children were engaged, supported and challenged. In addition, he supported the teaching staff brilliantly and ensured that all adults present were able to provide the children with an enjoyable learning experience which developed their athleticism.” Year 5 Primary School Teacher
I am a man in his 60s who partakes in the Saturday morning 5K Parkrun. I improved my time down to around 26 minutes but struggled to make further improvement. I contacted Mark and together we devised a training schedule. This was no more than I had been doing but the variation, the different types of training runs and having a plan have been very effective. My pb is now around 25.5mins which, for my age and the time I spend training, is respectable. So, it’s never to late to improve! Dave from Ilford
“Mark gave me a training plan to follow in my attempt to qualify for my age group at the ITU World Duathlon Championships. The schedule was challenging but fair with my family and work commitments and I was delighted to not only qualify but perform well at the event itself. The training plan included a variety of run and bike sessions but also plenty of brick sessions to help me cope with the hard transitions that take place.”
“We really enjoy our sessions with Mark. He makes it fun and pushes us hard to help us improve. It has helped us in all our sports.” Luca (Y7) & Marcus (Y5)
“Mark’s sessions are always fun and he always looks to try and find ways to help me improve my running. My times have already improved in such a short space of time.” Year 5 pupil
